3/31/20

Having carefully selected his wardrobe, setting and pose for his first day of 3rd grade photo shoot, Toby dearly hoped that his mother Madge wouldn't screw up the shots with her fumbling use of the camera...!
Jeremy wanted this tiresome photograph to be over and done with asap because he could hear on the neighbor's portable AM radio the Ohio Players "Rollercoaster of Love" and was aching to break loose and boogie down!
Kelly Jean has been such a sour pill that morning during their soft-boiled eggs and toast that Steven couldn't resist hopping off his side of the bench without warning and sending her careening to the pavement! (Emily Ann, having been through this already, knew better than to even sit on the bench to begin with!)

Toby was so smart to manipulate the lighting of the yucca plant behind his head so that at first glance it looked like fireworks going off.

True story though, how many times did my Grandmother gather everyone together at the holiday table or in front of the flower garden for a commemorative photo without realizing she had the Instamatic upside down or pointed in her direction, or an old flash cube that didn't go off! And every time she acted like it was the first time she held a camera. We would laugh our heads off!

Oh yes... even though I get a little wild and wacky around here, many of the things I mention or suggest are rooted in a reality that we all endured...! LOL Remember all the pics that came back with the family all on one side of the frame instead of center or ones with people's heads cut off?!! ;-)
