Valerie took one swimming lesson from the hotel's instructor Tonio and liked it so much she asked for and was granted another private lesson that evening after the pool was officially closed and there would be fewer distractions.

At first Mary Ann was petrified to have been captured by the cannibalistic headhunters, but soon she found that they threw some rather festive parties, not that she got to enjoy her first one all the way to the end...
Regardless of how descriptive his account was, and it became more and more animated each time, Barbara simply wasn't going to believe Stan's story about the sea monster he discovered while snorkeling that morning!

While all three gals were talented, it was the newly-blonde center one who had the edge when it came to singing lead and naming them Linda Lemmon and the Meringues.
While older brothers Burton and Tony worked on their tumbling in the desert sand, it was Gino's duty to be sure that no tumbleweeds or cactus had managed to find its way into their practice area.

Bruce believed in resistance training, but couldn't quite grasp why it has getting harder to clear his thighs whenever he attempted to curl the 100 lb weights he'd always done before with ease...
Cynthia wanted more than anything to attend the Azalea Ball, but was instead assigned second shift at Burton's Steak & Keg and also didn't have a thing to wear in any case, so she wished and wished for her Fairy Godmother to come and solve things. Unfortunately, her own guardian angel could only get her out by 9:15 and could only fashion a formal by adding about a foot to her waitress uniform...

And so, at Darlene's 20th birthday, her Aunt Myrna and Aunt Susan's long-standing competitive spirit was once again brought to the surface when all of Darlene's friends devoured Myrna's Strawberry Jell-O Surprise while Susan's parsley-laden tray of chicken salad remained untouched...

Jaded by so much hype and false advertising with various products, Mrs. Armstrong could hardly believe her eyes when she switched Tod's morning cereal from Frosted Flakes to King Vitamin!
Bob had been informed by some of the guys at the office that Sharon became more "friendly" after a little sip of something with a little kick to it, so he went to the car and brought her back a beer... or four!
Batman warned Robin over and over to use spirit gum for his mask lest it come off in the heat of battle and his secret identity of Dick Grayson be revealed to the world, but, like so many other youth, he was slow to heed any advice...
