Because of local evacuation due to recent bombings, there were no pretty ladies on hand to greet Colonel Heinzbaum during his visit to Camp Weinerharm, so Fritz, Hans, Dieter and Jurgen were recruited to do the best they could on short notice...

More determined than ever to win a spot as one of The Golddiggers on Dean Martin's variety show, Cynthiana made her little brother Randy take a variety of headshots and poses of her so that she could select the best one and mail it to the producers!

After some trampled grass and assorted litter on his front lawn, Mr. Garner decided to invest in an attack dog, but, as it turned out, Brutus was scared of his own shadow and the first time anyone headed up the walk, he bounded up into the eaves, taking his "Beware of Dog" sign with him!

Sylvester was always skeptical of fair-weather relatives such as cousin Pete and knew that when his owner Helen drifted off for her afternoon nap someone was going to have to look after her pocketbook!

Reginald heard his owners Mr. & Mrs. Smithson inquiring with each other as to where various things had disappeared to such as his left slipper, his shaving brush and her Sunday panties, so he darted over to his toy chest to protect all of his recent finds!

Jessamyn felt it was past time for Herman to take off his shirt and get some color on that belly of his, but every time the sun hit it, incoming ships mistook the glare as a signal from shore that there was a low-tide or sharp coral warning and turned around without docking!

Inspired by her tree in the front yard, Myrtle designed a new hat for herself and decided to pose next to it for comparison. Unfortunately, a woodpecker who had taken up a home in the tree mistook her for a similar species and began to rat-a-tat-tat on her head until her glasses fell off!

Following her divorce from John Warner, Elizabeth Taylor couldn't get back to Hollywood fast enough, though some of her friends felt the need to point out that during her six-year union, she'd packed on a few pounds and allowed her fashion sense to slide a bit. So it was off to LaLanne's for some floor exercises and the stationary bike, followed by Sak's and Bloomingdale's for a whole new wardrobe!

While studying the art during the Whispering Meadows Retirement Village outing to The Heineman Sculpture Garden, Bert came to the realization that he really should invite Ms. Fanny Hipplewhite to an early bird dinner again and again until she finally agreed to come.

Marguerite happened to pick a dreadful time to pose for a photo at the DeLuge Mall directory kiosk, for Ramon was already en route with his hose to give the surrounding flowers a healthy afternoon drink and he hadn't wore his glasses that day!

Snowball and Squealer were pleased as punch the day after their takover of the Pilkington ranch and immediately moved inside the house. Thus, Muriel was relocated to the sty for a time to see how she liked it...

After many months of the same old thing, Roy finally discovered precisely the right payback for his sister Lorraine, who always insisted on being first in the bathroom and then proceeded to take lengthy soaks in the tub!

Having enjoyed such a beautiful, sunny afternoon in Bobby's most comfortable patio chair, John was disappointed to feel raindrops falling on his face. However, after a fair amount of them had trickled into his mouth, he found he really didn't care anymore...!

At last came the time when Ted was fully grown enough to leave The Nancy Parsons Home for Wayward Boys, but he would never forget Miss Knochbruster, who taught him such helpful things as automotive repair, heat welding and high beam construction.

As a pillar of the community of Rockport Plains, Evangeline was frequently called upon to break ceremonial ground or cut the ribbon at various business openings, but she was in for a bit of a surprise this day when her limousine pulled up to the city's brand new Burger Chef...

Lillibette was eager to get her hair dried and set in time for preliminaries of the Miss Merry Mushroom Pageant, but her brother Mitch kept plugging in his Eldon Deluxe Road Race track in the other room and blowing a fuse each time!

Kerwin's 21st birthday was interrupted by a swarm of hungry butterflies who kept knocking on the glass of the breakfast nook sliding glass door, so before he could blow out his candles, everyone had to traipse downstairs to the den where they could have a little peace from the racket...

And so Louie, Rene and Serge discovered the hard way how unwise it was to repair their rugby ball with Krazy Glue and not wait an ample time for it to fully dry...

Edna Louise was happy to have finally been invited on one of the fellas' excursions aboard The Wandering Seamen, but did wonder how she was going to achieve her famous Chicken Fricassee in such a cramped kitchenette! 

Having been unceremoniously fired from Big Heart Pet Brands as the spokesfeline for 9 Lives cat food, Morris immediately set out to author a tell-all book which revealed all the sordid details of his longstanding association with the company.

By FAR, Tarzan's favorite part about being put on a plane and taken to the civilized world was the night he visited The Flamingo Room.

Part of Catwoman's sentence was being mentored in the ways of doing good instead of bad, so she tagged along with Wonder Woman for two weeks with everyone's fingers crossed that the program would stick!

Everett was so happy when Rick and Teddy asked him to come along on their lakeside excursion though as the day wore on, he began to fear that the only reason they'd invited him was because they owned no lounge chairs!
