3/2/15

Both Millard and LaVerne were keen on downplaying the circumstances of how they met. He was a drunken sailor and she was a taxi dancer in a low-rung nightclub. Their disguises always worked until he revealed the rope & anchor tattoo on his hand and she sometimes slipped and requested a quarter from their male friends after a trip around the dance floor.
Whenever Barry played Santa Claus for all the family children, he hated to miss seeing even one freckle of their faces so he made sure to bring along his horn-rimmed glasses with the heaviest prescription.
Ever since Wilma had left in a huff to stay with her mother, Fred had subsisted on nothing but beer, bourbon and day-old donuts, yet the good times with his friends continued unabated.
Steven enjoyed the pool at Williams Aquatic Park as much as the next little boy, but there was no way he was going to risk damaging his baby fine hair with chlorine, so he always borrowed his mom's swim cap before a spirited game of Marco Polo.
Chet had scarcely gotten a glimpse of Diane in her stunning prom dress before he realized it was going to be THE night, so before they even made it to the dance, he stopped off at Lucky's Pharmacy for some "protection."
With gasoline rationing still in effect, Lorna and Ray had to improvise when it came to packing up the kids and sending them to Grandma Betty's for a long weekend. Ray was careful, however, to provide some nice size air holes in the sides of the box and also to avoid getting their hair caught in the tape when sealing up the box...
