2/2/15

Stan and Roscoe decided to go all in (or all out?) for their retirement trip to South Padre Island, Texas, making The Happy Dolphin Bed & Breakfast one of their first stops. The famous, personalized service there had been handled by the same staff for many years despite strict requirements when it came to physique and the company "uniform."
One of the happiest days in the life of Mrs. Kinney (aka: The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe) was the one in which Armbruster Metals delivered a selection of outdoor playtoys for her brood to scamper around on. Thing was, it took a while before they learned exactly how to share and take turns on things such as this slide...
Kirstin's first day as an in-home beauty consultant for Hap-E-Face cosmetics took a decided turn for the worst when she felt the need to gingerly mention Rhonda's rather noticeable mustache and how her company's apricot depilatory might help...
Initially ecstatic to be invited for dinner at Uncle Harland's estate, Allison and Kim were later horrified when the main course was revealed to be beef stew instead of the highly-anticipated fried chicken!
Even as early as 1970, as shown here in a group photo from the Los Altos Women's Bowling Association, The Sparettes were starting to sense some discord amongst themselves, with Nita (center) eager to break away and try bowling as a single act.
Hortense was so thrilled when her daughter-in-law Joan set out the Easter cake that she couldn't help, but swipe a fast gulp of frosting, but, to her horror, Joan had used green plastic basket-filler for the grass instead of dyed coconut flakes!!
The day had been long in coming, but Jerry knew that this was the one in which a fresh shave, Pearl Drops toothpaste and a gentle burst of Jovan Musk were going to coalesce into the magic that would bring him his promotion as Floor Supervisor at Push-'n-Pay Discount Drug Mart.
