12/9/15

Those years immediately following "The Flying Nun" (before the success of "Smokey and the Bandit") were tough ones for Sally Field and for a while she fell in with the wrong crowd...
Beatrice was looking so forward to the reception for all the dignitaries from Bavaria that she tirelessly shopped for just the right evening coat to match the drapes at the embassy.
Prunella and Angus, official royal decoys for Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, were free to roam the park on their own this day because the Queen decided to stay inside the palace all afternoon.
Knowing how mischievous Annette could be, her mother told Uncle Walter not to take his eyes off her for a moment, even when setting up the beach chairs!
This was not the first time that free-spirited Shermie had bounded from next door and inserted himself into one of The Vincents' family portraits, but he was so much fun they couldn't bring themselves to be mad about it!
By the time of the twentieth attempt at a family snapshot, little Evan was becoming more than sleepy, but Fluffy was getting downright agitated!

What an unfortunate photo op for Beatrice.
Maybe Shermie would like to come mow my lawn in his cutoffs? I'm sure Chet wouldn't mind.

Doncha just love the free-wheeling '70s when it wasn't at all unusual to go around in cutoffs and nothing else?!
