Most of Cassandra's bridesmaids were thrilled for Wayne and her, but Angelique had been strangely reticent during the ceremony and now seemed downright hostile. (And the silver-plated cake knife had also gone missing moments before this snapshot!)

As soon as Terri got home from work, she called the Transmark bus company to complain that, while it was nice that the stop on 8th & Elm had a canopy over it, the shelter collected two inches of water, which was going to take all evening to dry out of her bell bottoms!

Telma had instructed her husband Raymond to show her cousins     Tisa and Phaenelle where the guest powder room was, but had no clue that the three of them would disappear for 25 minutes during the party, emerging only after the repeated pounding on the door from Aunt Helen...
