8/30/18

All the members of South Carrollton Country Club were stoked about the big Labor Day weekend swim party, especially since Melody Sue was in charge of spiking the lemonade. And lifeguard Chase knew from experiences last year to have a wheelchair handy.
After more than fourteen days without a drop, Stephanie gathered the members of her 4th period Home Ec class together to perform a rain dance in tribal gear, but they must have done something wrong because all that happened was a spike in humidity and more sun than ever before!
It cannot be denied that eyebrows were raised when Lynde Community College's production of "Helen of Troy" included a love scene between Patroclus and Achilles, even if it may have been true to the story. But the real shock came when actors Jonathan and David continued the relationship months after the play closed!

I'm not an expert on Native American tribal wear, but I suspect that a red (with gold-trim) see-through satin chemise-like bathrobe was not typical rain-dance attire...nor was that sparkly gold-band tiara.

My suspicion is that our Wonder Woman wannabe deliberately sabotaged the rain dance by wearing these non-traditional items. I mean, seriously, who would spend all that time on their hair only to have it poured upon and ruined. Face it, she's no fool.

Makes perfect sense. It could be that Carole was from an upscale tribe, like The Crowsfeet, but she definitely had some coiffure and accessories to protect from the elements!
