The gals on the Spring Fling Fashion Committee universally agreed that all Agnes Marie needed in order to prepare for mating season was a little more zip to her hair and wardrobe, so chairwoman Charmaine Northern got right on it!
Initially, she thought maybe it was just her, but after a very determined taste test on her dolls, Kimberly came to the conclusion that, yes, her mother's lima beans did have the taste and consistency of wadded up balls of wallpaper paste.
When Sue brought her fiance Randall home to meet her parents, she was petrified that he would balk at the various invasive and stringent methods of testing and assessment they would put him through as a son-in-law candidate. But not only was he a game specimen, but he also found after a time that he actually enjoyed it!
Okay, so maybe it cost her a friend or two when she sawed 3/4" off one heel of her chief competitor's satin pumps in order to make the poor girl walk like a yak in need of a hip replacement... It mattered not because now Dianne was Miss Snowflake 1962 and could have a featured spot riding on a convertible in the annual parade.

Thanks to this trip to a Japanese aviary, Helen was able to earn her girl scout badge in ornithology. And within minutes of her arrival, she was also able to earn bonus badges for first aid and stain removal!
