Marjean was just sneaking back from borrowing a few scoops of coffee from Mrs. Olson next door, but was "caught" by a surprise visit from her old school chum Ann Milnar, in town for an advertising convention.
And
so Bonita got her wish and was able to portray Cinderella in the Jacob
Wilhelm High School ballet. Trouble was, the stagehands kept
accidentally bringing out Jack's beanstalk from the prior production!
Ruta was elated to be selected as one of twelve guards from the West Florida Women's Correctional Facility to pose for the annual calendar, for which all proceeds went to rehabilitation supplies like chlorine (and peroxide.)
I think Marjean is laughing after a big scare. Probably from being surprised by the person with the large crazy hairdo casting the shadow in the foreground.
Not quite sure if Ruta is selling her wares outside the motel or posing for a Lemon Up shampoo advertisement. Either way, she's going to be a hit in the pool once the sun goes down.
I stand corrected. What was I thinking? Of course Ruta ain't going to risk wettin' her hair for nobody...but that doesn't mean she still won't be a big sensation poolside...that is, once the boys have properly toweled themselves dry.

Maybe Mrs. Olson had her braids out?
That depends, Mrs Olson Folgers or Mrs Olson Prairie?

"Lemon Up!" Love it... But IN the pool? Not without a fancy swim cap. Ha ha!
Shawny, I figured Folgers, since she was borrowing coffee, but either way, I guess! ;-)
