It took the better part of two days, but Hugh (aka - "Captain Smooth") was able to arrange all his record albums in order of romantic success. The top shelf could break down the walls of resistance, the middle shelf led to seduction and the bottom shelf was filled with great rhythms! |

Jerry and Alexander are creeping me out...Fortunately, there's Hugh's fabulous TV antenna to keep me entertained. Kids today have it so easy. If they only knew the trouble I had to go through to watch a non-local station on our portable B&W TV set by constantly touching one antenna ear with one hand and using the other hand as a sort of makeshift antenna just in order to maintain an acceptable level of snow and capture the audio at the same time. Also, am the only child out there who ever had to change channel with a pair of pliers because their TV knob had broken off?
How about foil on the tips of the antennae for better reception?! LOL Yes, today's youth has no clue the torment. The horizontal hold would go wacky right in the middle of a good scene, a passing plane or something would create snow/static, or you'd live just far enough away from a station to know that it was there, but you couldn't actually watch it feasibly. Sigh... I recall one TV of ours that had the usual channel knob, but then a clicking one for UHF and it was unreal to switch/click it from channel 19 to channel 64!!!! Definitely no "surfing" back then. LOLOL
Jerry, practicing for his television premier on Family Feud, take 43...
...if only he'd thought to add a carnation boutonniere!
