The first thing Alexander worried about when taking a desk job as a clerk was boredom, but in the end that turned out to be the least of his concerns...
Anne-Marie, still trying to work off some of her pregnancy weight, dashed home from Woolworth's and immediately tried to shimmy into her Playtex 18-hour girdle, but forgot to shield Conrad from the exhibition!
The Pinehursts were so proud of this year's tree that they immediately plopped Caesar in front of it for a quick photo, not realizing that he already had his eye on a Santa Claus "chew toy" near the top and that their decorations wouldn't even make it until the next morning!

...And Conrad was scarred for life... Woolworth's! That brought a lot of memories!

Woolworth's! That brought a lot of memories!
The small town near me had a Woolworth's and a Kresge's, both lost to the past now! <:-]
There still exists a Woolworth's in Puerto Vallarta.
Unfortunately, there is no food counter with spinning chairs inside.
But, I was able to pick-up $1.00 underwear the last time I was there.
Needless to say, they weren't Calvin Kleins.
It's refreshing to know that both Woolworths and underwear and still hanging in there! ;-)
