3/29/16

Millicent was hell bent on having a stylish and comfy new muff for the Sweet-Tart Dinner Dance, but since her family couldn't afford real fur, they had to shave poor Toby's midsection and painstakingly adhere his coat to the flannel loop with some Elmer's glue...
Robbie only enjoyed TV shows like "S.W.A.T.," "The Rookies" and "Starsky and Hutch" and declared that if his sister Denise turned on "Donny and Marie" or "The Brady Bunch Variety Hour" one more time he was going to take matters into his own hands!
Anita and Bob thought their ceremony went okay, but felt that the big draw was the delicious punch made with fresh Florida orange juice, pineapple juice and a splash of Triple Sec...

Orange juice, pineapple juice and Triple Sec sounds delicious. Thanks for the recipe!

Two weeks ago, I watched 5 episodes of The Brady Bunch Variety Hour on YouTube. It was rather painful at times, particularly during the skit portions. I did, however, enjoy the campiness of the full-family musical numbers, particularly the Yankee Doodle tribute.

And, strangely enough (as it has happened to us in the past), I also just recently watched (rather, attempted to watch)the Donny and Marie Show, which my friend had brought over on DVD. We couldn't get through an entire episode (and we were tipsy at the time!!!...that's how painful it was!)

Bottoms up, Armando!

Knuckles, I had a deliciously painful experience like that when I bought the entire series of The Captain & Tenille for $3.99 and binge watched it all!! LOL I hope there were no firearms handy when you watched DOnny & Marie. You need your TV too much! ;-)
