4/8/15

One thing Bethany noticed when she was sunbathing in the pool with some of her guy friends from school: If her top happened to begin to fall down, there was always someone willing to volunteer to help tie it back up!
Stevie knew the secret to "finishing" his stewed yams so that he could finally get to the eagerly-awaited banana tapioca. He merely spread it around anyplace her could find until there wasn't any more in the bowl!
Audrey couldn't believe her good fortune. After a thorough check of all the students in her lifeguard class, instructor Bruce determined that she had just the right type of neck and clavicle to provide proper demonstrations of mouth-to-mouth resuscitation for all the students.
To her mother, this was just a thoughtful pose in her tap recital costume, but to Candace, she was wondering how much longer she'd have to do time in this one-horse town before traipsing off to a stellar career on Broadway!
One too many times, Mr. Sidebottom's son Cliff had parked his car one fourth of the way across Selena's driveway and that was the last straw. Now, she and Tryphaena had plans for him...
During what was supposed to be a romantic evening, Irving felt the need to spoil things by complaining about the way Mavis had laid out the glassware on the table. He'd repeatedly emphasized to her that the water glasses went above the knives while the champagne saucers went above the spoons.
It took a lot of painful hours of training and humiliation from their militant coach Mark, but in the end, The Fourth Avenue Tadpoles finally went from last place in their division to fifth.

Hmm!!!...Selena looks a little like Charita Bauer in the late 70s/early 80s.

Of course, unless you were a Guiding Light fan back then, you probably have no idea who I'm talking about.

But, on the off chance that you were a GL fan back then, I just have one thing to say...Diane Ballard!!!

I recall Charita "Bert" Bauer, but I never watched the show more than a scant handful of times. I just like to know something about classic shows. So I don't know Diane Ballard... But Selena here was named after the Batman villainess Selena Kyleaka Catwoman! :-)
