Howard was eager to get down to the Ferris wheel before too much of a line formed, but Sadie insisted that he stop and take a picture of her in her new imitation Pucci from Sears-Roebuck before any stray debris from sno-cones or elephant ears ruined it!

Teffeni, Charmise and Carol Lee were happy at first to be promised $60.00 apiece in order to work a lingerie show, but were disheartened to get to the "event" and find that the only people in attendance were Geoff and three of his poker buddies...

Most of the neighborhood seemed disturbed and alarmed that no one had seen Wayne's live-in girlfriend Krissi for nearly two weeks following a public brawl and their fears were not allayed when Betsi came forward with a possible clue that her dog Sherlock had discovered under some freshly-planted daffodils!

Jasper had invited Lydia over for Valentine's Day and wanted to be certain that his TV was picking up channel 7, which was running "Love, American Style" that night.

Regina was there to meet her niece Verna, sister Eloise and great aunt Carrie for the family reunion, which was fortunate because the 68-mile drive on their buckboard had worn them out and they were more than ready for a seat!

And so, because he sassed back after being warned twice, Ricky was ordered to report to the birdcage, like his mouthy sister Tracey, where his grandparents Archibald and Dolores hoped that the two of them would reflect on their behavior and attitude for a few hours...

Everything had gone so elegantly at The Freibergs' dinner party, but thankfully no one stepped into the kitchen to see the frenzied mess that their maid Hermione had created behind the scenes. By staying out, they also missed her sampling the after-dinner cordial before it was presented to the table!

Kermit didn't like the fact that his boys felt the need to settle every one of their differences with fisticuffs, but as it was bound to happen anyway, he figured he may as well serve as referee (and try in the process to protect their new light fixture from Kresge's.)

At first, Dawn Marie and Millicent's mother was mortified that her daughters would be working at the infamous Playboy Supper Club, but when she saw that the dress code had been significantly changed for their Salt Lake City location, she relaxed about it to a degree.

During a particularly enthusiastic viewing of the annual Miss Universe Pageant, Rowena couldn't help herself from screaming at the TV for Miss Portugal to loosen up and wear her evening gown "off the shoulder" if she had any intention of winning!

Princess Meghan of Denmark inspired many people during her many goodwill tours of foreign nations, but did find Transylvania to be rather unsettling. She was also unsure if her only escort, a diminutive air force flyer, was going to be enough in the way of security.

Minh Thu fell deeply in love with Sergeant Ronald Kelly and returned to America with him for what was supposed to be a lifetime of wedded bliss. However, when - after nearly twenty years of marriage - he suddenly decided to give up his stripes and live life more frequently as Pickles the Clown, a mild sense of dread began to seep in...

Cliff knew that if he went off with the gang to Lake Manly, California for the weekend, he'd never pass his astrophysics exam on Monday, but he then got the bright idea to sequester himself in the cabin and devote the hours of 1:00am - 3:00am to private study time...

Raymond and Sylvia felt a sense of accomplishment during their 40th anniversary party, but after Sylvia's fourth sidecar and the resultant tales she told from their long marriage, Raymond wasn't entirely sure there was going to be a 41st!

It hadn't been such a bad weekend at Aunt Lily's, though there was definitely some tension left in the air from when Jason played Hide & Go Teeth with Lily's dentures and then couldn't find them again! Fortunately, she had an early Monday appointment with Dr. Gummelman.

Although with a surprising fourteen entrants for the charity bachelorette auction, the North Avenue Elks were seeing more quantity than in the previous three years, the caliber of the gals had dipped somewhat with a total take of only $53.78. Thus, several of the group's leaders were hoping for prettier auctionees next time which might lead to higher bids overall...

Bernard thought he was disappointed with the much-heralded Cotton Blossom, but that wound up being nothing compared to how let down he was by the rickety iron railing that lined the levee!

This was Eileen's very first trip to the Dick E. Fallick Botanical Gardens and her curiosity about their unusual woods, stems and growths darn near got the best of her until an attendant had to remind her to stay behind the guard rail.

No one could understand how all six of The Jengasons could afford to take a luxurious Grecian cruise on father Jules' meager salary, but in this rare photo they reveal how they managed to stay in one stateroom containing a single bed (but an extra-high ceiling...)

Nevin was delighted that his mother, for once, allowed him to dart outside and play even though the temperature was in the mid-20s. Sadly for him, he found it difficult to navigate from within the winter wear she'd bundled him up in!

Both Bette and Yolande felt that it was not only Althea's relationship with Terrence that was was pulling her away from their circle down at The Apocalypse Lounge, but also her recent decision to dress up her dark clothing with hints of playful fruit and read poetry that didn't end in doom...

For weeks, Archie had been looking forward to the Breath of Spring Hike & Camp with Multnomah College in Portland, but, after realizing that he'd neglected to bring along any sort of pants or shorts, soon wished he'd taken up his mother's offer to pack for him!

After repeated, in-the-face queries from Uncle Greg such was "Come on, boy... What did we have for din-din?" Clarence got so worked up that he finally upchucked and showed the inquisitor first hand what it was!

Mobster Gianni Zeppo wanted with all his heart and soul to attend his daughter Talisa's wedding ceremony, but since he was still on the lam, the only way he could do it was in disguise...
