In what was a first for the city of Morrell Park, Philadelphia, type-1 diabetic bride Denise insisted on a wedding cake made of liver pâté instead of the usual, sugary, frosted confection...
Maid of Honor Veleka was worried enough about wearing satin on the big day for fear of wrinkles, but was becoming further distressed after having to repeatedly squat down for posed pictures prior to walking down the aisle!
The ceremony had been long and even a bit tiresome and the appetizers scant thus far at the reception, so Leesa, Anton and Giselle eagerly awaited the ritual sacrifice if only for something interesting to do...

Arthur didn't like to leave the house on Friday evenings because both of his favorite TV programs were on simultaneously and he was reluctant to miss either one, but Raelynn forced him into his tux just this once because she was being honored with the "Belle of the Month" award through the Daughters of the Rural Southeast.
Best Man Herman had to remind Laurette that the agreed upon wife-swapping with bride Sue Ann and groom Roger wasn't supposed to begin until the newlyweds returned home from their honeymoon in Bermuda!
None of the children on the wooded tram excursion felt like listening when Mr. Samuel Peepers insisted that they keep their heads inside the car at all times, lest they be struck by a branch, even though he knew of whence he spoke from when he did it as a kid!

Brunhilde was the first one to give Chef Sylvia Stockhorn's egg white, vinegar, baking soda and lemon juice depilatory formula a try and she was mostly thrilled with the results, including the fact that it reduced the appearance of liver spots.
Inspired by early attempts at traveling breast cancer screening, Dr. Helena Lubenstein instituted a mobile prostrate-checking unit that proved popular for several years.
And so, on the last day of July, Private Hanes stepped outside for the first time without his obligatory tank-style t-shirt, providing his fellow servicemen with gales of laughter (except for those who thought he was still wearing a white one!)

Gilbert, Teddy and Rex hadn't even cleared the dock for their rowboat ride around Lake Silt when they discovered all too quickly what would happen if someone removed the little plug located near Rex's feet!
After Jack emerged from the food line with his kid's meal hamburger at Jumbo's, his father could hardly wonder what the adult-size rendition was going to be like!
Time and again, Ricky Lee had been warned of modern-day pirates along the coast of Gooseneck Beach, but he chose to ignore their advice and insisted on shell collecting there, to his ultimate demise...

Terrence was Lake Mary Prepatory's most skilled track team member when it came to shot put. He was so good, however, that it took him a half hour each day after practice to go out and round up his balls!
Serena, Jorge, Evelina and Bud went crazy in the tag-team rumba competition at La Grasa resort, even winning the top prize though, for Evalina, it came at a stiff price...
Garry and Ron got their asses kicked in tennis by Sebastian and Blair, but they returned the favor off the court in retribution for the outfits the winners had worn to the match that day.

She'd already missed lunch and a night without dinner also loomed, but Esther Louise had goals to be an Olympic synchronized swimmer and wasn't going to let anything stand in the way of her intense preparation.
Lars enjoyed having some of his seafaring buddies from The Rusty Anchor over for after-closing cocktails, but he did think that Reggie was a little bit selfish, two-fisting it all night when there was plenty to go around for everyone!
Sylvie and Jonah's wedding portraits were going so well until a renegade squirrel flung itself onto her veil, then ran with it up the tree to make his hollowed-out nest more cozy for the coming autumn months!

Angus tended to get along okay with Tinkles and ordinarily wouldn't have minded the bunk-bed setup that their owner Miss Allison created for them. However, many times his upstairs bunk-mate was too lazy to get up in the middle of the night and head for the kitty litter, creating an unfortunate scenario for him...
One of Peru's top community theatre groups became the first to adapt "The Fantasticks" into a Spanish language production and it ran continually for six years!
On her very last day before retiring from the Princess Line, Julie McCoy hosted a life preserver splash-down contest which was a lot of fun for the guests, but sort of drench the nearby appetizer buffet.

The Crescentville and South Sheboygan basketball team became legendary for not only their impeccable teamwork and chemistry together but also primarily for the fact that they were able to win games with only three players against five and by a decent margin.

After a long, tiring week on the assembly line at Latimer Bolts and Toggle, Anson raced to his car, headed to the lake and immediately pitched a pup tent for the weekend.

More than a few of his coworkers at Croft & Burlow law firm were stunned at Terry's choice of headgear for the annual Derby Day luncheon, but not one of them had the guts to suggest that he remove it, even after the race was over and the results were heard on the radio...
