4/10/15

Knowing that Ilsa was on her way to the Officer's Club and might be up for a spin on the dance floor, Heinrich asked Fritz to help him out with his breath. Unfortunately, he didn't wait until he was finished with his Pall Mall, resulting in the mintiest smoke breath yet recorded during WWII...
All his life, Roy wanted a rocking horse, but had never been given one. Finally, after years of toiling at Evan's Feed & Dry Goods, he was able to save up and get one, but eventually he realized that the dream was better than the reality.
Gary's parents were so proud of him for buying a small house and planting a garden. However, even months after he'd moved in they were dismayed to see that the garden seemed more full of weed than it did vegetables.
Sadly, the night chosen for The Verona Boys Choir to carol through town was the coldest ever felt in two decades, so following a couple of their numbers, they had to be brought into the library to thaw out and enjoy a cup of cocoa.
The wedding was beginning in five minutes, yet no one had seen little Claude the ring bearer since he'd made fun of Millicent's hair bow; a crinkled boutonnière  on the floor near her foot the only sign of him at all.
Ordinarily, Oscar couldn't be bothered to race home for dinner, but this time he knew Mrs. Meyer was going to cook homemade baked beans and grill wieners on the outdoor barbecue, so he closed up the office a half hour early and practically ran to the car.

Ahhhhhh!!! I think I'd have a coronary if I saw the Verona Boys Choir peeking in my window at night. They're just downright creepy!

The more I look at that last photo, the funnier it gets!

But still, I'd be equally creeped out if I discovered him peeking in my window...especially if he had that expression at the time (with or without a sausage!)

Weird how the choirboys are all the same and yet seemingly different in minute ways (like the angle and direction of their heads?) Oscar is clearly very excited about dinner. Worth keeping his teeth in for, I think!
