6/12/18

And so a potentially delightful day at the beach was spoiled because Kirk refused to turn over his pail and shovel to Freddie at the promised time...
RARE color file photo from the short-lived DuMont Network kiddie show "Cockla, Fran and Ollie," which was cancelled after six episodes - despite high ratings - when Fran tugged a bit too hard on Cockla's nose during one of the sketches...
Anita Jo was so excited to finally be invited back to local singer Melville Cressley's parent's home for Christmas that she ran through an entire can of Final Net while preparing her up-'do!

I'm loving Melville's living room (lamp, radio, album cover, etc.)...but why is there a curtain in the corner of the room? Is it merely a backdrop for the Christmas tree? Or does it conceal something sinister that we're better off not knowing?

Note: Am disappearing again for a while. Will be back in a couple weeks time.

That album cover has a great three-shot of a sleek '60s lady on it! I presume that there's a corner window behind the curtains, but why not leave them open so that everyone can see the Christmas cheer?! Maybe Melville was Cockla and didn't want the neighbors to know...

That album cover is the fantabulous Dionne Warwick
