6/18/13

Even as scant as it was, laundry day was a major hassle for Ronnie, the tedium relieved only by the occasional impromptu cha-cha between Rex and him.
Mary Lynn got a huge, unwelcome surprise when her mother advertised in The Thistleberry Chronicle for a stud to mate with Daisy, their German Shepherd, and Fred showed up with Rowdy.  Still and all, Daisy was mulling it over...
Clarissa was proud to be the big winner when it came to gleaning the most Christmas cards out of their circle of friends, but little sister Bonnie Sue somehow trumped her by being more popular in person.
Fun was fun, but Rita was beginning to get darned sick and tired of the intimations JoAnn was sending her way by continually gifting her with size XXL panties.
Veronica felt no need to wait until after the reception to make it pristinely clear to Ned just who was going to be wearing the pants in their newly-formed family.
True, Navin Barnes was correct in his assertion that Coke was "it," but, likewise, Ronda was perfectly justified in remarking that HE wasn't............
And so as the drought continued, and with water at an all time premium, the war over the Anderson turnip plot wore on, with Simone and Jesse in a heated battle over rights to the nearby creek.
