Randall Dean wanted one thing for Christmas and that was a pet monkey. When he got Carmine, he was simply over the moon, but he did have to step up his paper route a bit in order to keep the household stocked with extra bananas...
And so Clarissa sorted through her album collection until she found just the right music to play in the background while the telephone repairman came to check her lines... (If you're wondering, it was "You Can Ring My Bell" by Anita Ward.)
With Rico still on the mend from his bout with malaria, his friends thought he could use a little pick me up, so they arranged a swinging party with all sorts of wild, colorful people to help bring the pink back to his cheeks.

We had curtains very similar to those in Randall's house.

Always wanted a stereo like Clarissa has (still do), although I wouldn't have pegged her as a Liberace fan (at least, I assume the RACE on the album cover is Liberace related)

Like the new blog header...and, might I add, "Permission granted!"

So much of the '60s and '70s horror isn't even so much the colors and patterns, but the almost deliberately wretched way they are put together in rooms - with no coordination! Those space-agey stereos were hot. Her album could be something like "AMAZING GRACE: and Other Spritual Favorites" or maybe even "LOVING EMBRACE: Music to Make Love By." LOL

The header is a bit haphazard, but it was time for an update! Thanks!!
