Weary of the utterly unglamorous atmosphere of St. Caroline's weekly fish fry, Edna enlisted the help of her nieces Sheila and Karyn to add a touch of elegance to the sub-basement cafeteria/bingo hall.
It certainly took some doing, including a second mortgage on his condo, but Steve finally possessed the vehicle that would ensure his position of "resident stud"at The Gilded Lotus Townhomes & Condominium complex...
And so yet another, otherwise dull, family get-together was saved when Hyrta Hellenbach gave in and performed her long-dormant Whirling Cognac dance routine...
Thanks to plenty of hard work and a diet rich in organically grown fruits and vegetables, Li'l Abner and Daisy Mae Yokum managed to retain their enviable physiques long past middle age and into their senior years (though, oddly, their fashion sense never evolved...)
