1/9/15

It was the first day of preschool and even though Sherel hadn't quite finished Tracee's new dress, she insisted on wearing it that day and posing for a fast picture. So, in place of the ribbon for her collar and sleeves, they grabbed a few strands of black licorice.
Verdette found out the hard way not to go into Miss Bessie's and ask for a Mr. Pibb soft drink until time for her wash and set. Such action meant waiting outside on the lawn instead of in the parlor...
Natalie was more than happy when baby George Jr. finally came along because it put a lot of speculation among the local hens to rest. Even at this early stage, he was clearly the spitting image of his father George Sr!
Chuckie and Francine's homemade puppet show really wasn't all that bad. The thing is, their fateful decision to hold it in the middle of the street meant that on more than one occasion they'd had to dash to the sidewalk and watch in horror as their scenery and two or three puppets were driven over!
Mary Lou was so grateful that Ferdie had removed the corner cabinet and replaced it with an inset because it left her so much more headroom while at the sink prepping food or doing dishes...
All packed and ready to go for their four-day weekend at Mavis's Dudette Ranch in Sedona, Arizona, a few of the gals were disappointed that Jayne (far left) had neglected to bring a cowgirl hat and thus they'd have to make an extra stop at The Wily Wampum Trading Post for her to get one.
