7/5/13

Happy had honked four times for Lady to come out and was getting close to losing his usual good nature.  It was almost dark and the drive-in would soon be starting "Lassie Saves the Lumber Camp!"
As the afternoon wore on, Scraps became increasingly worried.  Not only was Charlotte's grip becoming tighter and tighter, but that wall hanging was starting to resembled the English sheepdog that she USED to have!
So what if Karen Lynn had backed out of the big pairs dance competition down at the Neon Heel?  Travis figured he could get Buster to learn all of her steps by the 9:30pm start time.
Annie's first trip back to Hooverville since the Warbucks adoption provided a bittersweet reunion between Earl the blacksmith and herself...
This Christmas, Teddy wanted an Atari game system and possibly a gold herringbone necklace while Santa realized he would be giving himself a gift certificate for knee replacement surgery.
And so, once again, the rivalry between sisters-in-law Fern and Eileen was back in full swing since Mama Philomena had chosen Fern's marinara sauce over Eileen's.
