Little-known new-wave garage band Teddie and the Tin Men got so close to a Hot 100 hit with "I'll Toot for You" until personal disputes led to cancelled engagements and eventual permanent fallout, though Archie (far left) did play keyboard synthesizer on a couple of demos until about 1991.
