Thanks for the captions. I grew up doing that with the TV. When Mystery Science Theater came on, it was immediately a favorite.
Thanks for visiting the site and taking time to comment. There are thousands of pics/captions here, so there's plenty to sort through if you like this! :-)
Over time I think I've made it through your posts. That's how I got here and Poseidon's Underworld. There were other caption type blogs, but I think they all were deleted over time.
The first one about Charmaine the mad crocheter hits a bit close to home for me. In 2012, after losing my mother, I started a private charity in her memory. It all began with a dear friends cancer diagnosis, her talking about how she was constantly freezing. So, I crocheted her ab oversized shawl she could wrap around herself a couple of times to keep warm during her chemotherapy. That single shawl turned into 370 shawls by 2019. All of them made by my hands, and distributed not just throughout America, but to multiple countries as well. When Melania Trump became ill in 2017, I made her an American flag shawl with 50 20mm pearls to represent the 50 stars. Along with the shawls, I also crocheted several dozen baby outfits that I donated to the local hospitals, for the babies who were stillborn or passed away after birth.
Now, I'm not boasting about my craft. I'm just saying, I am a Charmaine, and I have finished work that sometimes seems to disappear as well.
whodat, that's truly wonderful and so, so generous, not just with time, but the cost of all that yarn (and in some cases other accoutrements!) Thanks for sharing and thanks for stopping by Krazy Kaptions! Be well.
